Problematic, yet buzzing and successful hip-hop artist, Tekashi 6ix9ine is still dealing with legal issues from his child sex case and now as part of his plea deal, could face prison time if he doesn’t pass his GED.

According to reports, Tekashi claims to have completed all parts of his GED except for Science and as a result, the judge on his case, hon. Felicia Mennin agreed to extend the hearing until April 10th, though not happily. If the GED is not complete by then, Tekashi could face anywhere from one to three years in prison.

Soon after this ruling was placed, Tekashi took to social media to brag about not one, but two “record deals” worth $7.5 million and $15 million respectively. Safe to say there’s a good chance Tekashi’s trolling, but who knows – he does have three singles on the Billboard Hot 100.

The latter of the deals is interesting, however, because Tekashi claims he signed with Birdman for $15 million and is now a part of Rich Gang. The photo he posted is with him, Birdman and Young Thug, so it is a possibility I suppose.

At the end of the day, one thing’s for sure. Tekashi has plenty of opportunity right in front of him, but his legal battles could throw it all out the window in a snap of the finger. Let’s see how it plays out.
