Drake has added a new signee to the OVO Sound roster and his name is Plaza.

OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib formally introduced the Toronto R&B singer to the world during episode 45 of OVO Sound Radio by playing his 5-track EP Shadow.

“Before I leave, [I’m] gonna play Shadow, an EP by Plaza, the newest member of the OVO Sound family,” Oliver announced.

In a recent  NOISEY interview, Plaza explained the sound he was aiming for his project:

“With this second EP, we’re going to get a bit more experimental with the sound. We want to keep that late-night vibe there, but also expand the sonic palette to something that you think wouldn’t fit into that genre.”

Plaza now joins the OVO A-list roster alongside PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan, Roy Woods, dvsn, OB O’Brien and of course, the 6 God himself.
