Tupac Shakur was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last night (April 7th).
While the God Father of Hip-Hop Snoop Dogg did the honors, calling Pac “the greatest rapper of all time,” Alicia Keys, Snoop, YG, and Tip came together to do a tribute to Tupac, performing many of his hits, from “I Get Around,” “Dear Mama,” “Changes,” to “Gangsta Shit,” “Hail Mary,” and “Keep Ya Head Up,” plus many more.
“One of my favorite things about Pac, you know every lyric that he ever sang, it came exactly from his life, exactly from his heart,” Alicia Keys said during her performance. “He was so raw and so real and so honest. And even though I never met him (I wish I did) I learned so much from him. All those stories, and all that realness. All that honesty. I took that with me.”
Check out some of the footage below, and let us know what does it mean to have Tupac inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
