Drake is currently making a lot of positive noise with his overseas “Boy Meets World” tour, bringing out a ton of special guests and providing sheer entertainment. However, Drake is now facing a bit of backlash for bringing along Toronto rapper Pressa as his opening act, despite some looming federal charges weighing over the young rapper.

According to the Toronto Sun, Pressa has been opening up for Drake on the BMW tour even though he’s out on bail for previously being arrested for alleged kidnapping, pistol whipping and the torture of two teens. According to the reports, the kidnapping eventually led to gun violence.

Even though Pressa was given permission to leave Canada for job opportunities between Feb. 15 and March 28th, the police department was unaware he was touring with a superstar.

“I find it troubling,” said the department’s Inspector Mike Earl. “Here’s a guy (who’s) supposed to be on bail on serious charges. Why is he permitted to leave country and tour with somebody who is a literal mentor to the city’s youth?”

What’s your take on the situation? Is Drake wrong for bringing Pressa along? Give us your thoughts in the comments section below.
