Forbes Releases Annual Top 5 Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists List
by Staff Editor
Each year, Forbes releases a list of the top 5 wealthiest hip-hop artists in the industry. While the names have tended to remain the same over the last few years, the numbers have risen significantly, and for the 2016 edition, a new yet very familiar face has entered the list — Drake.
Topping the list once again, Diddy takes the number 1 spot with an estimated worth of $750 million. Not too far behind, Dre brings in roughly $710 million, with Jay Z coming in 3rd with $610 million. With a significantly lower number than Hov, Birdman captures the 4th spot at $110 million, while the Forbes newcomer Drake racks in $60 million, replacing 50 Cent.
These five individuals are nothing short of inspiration for anyone chasing their dreams. The race to $1 billion is real and we’re excited to watch it unfold.
