In a recent appearance on Ladies First on Hot 97, Kat Deluna showed her bubbly and infectious personality.

She sat down with host Jen from Brooklyn to talk about everything from style to her career, getting the chance to meet her idol Beyonce during MTV’s TRL days, and she shuts down false rumors of an alleged beef between her and fellow Latina superstar Jennifer Lopez.

Kat also addressed being considered an underrated singer, and says that she does what she feels in the studio and just lets her creative juices flow. The talented songstress doesn’t pay much attention to trends or what’s popular, but rather, she is always working on improving and reinventing herself.

As far as the alleged beef she once had with fellow Latina Jennifer Lopez, she says she the whole thing was blown out of proportion and hyped in the media.
