Celebrating Women’s History Month and just in time for International Women’s Day, Hot 97’s “Ladies First” JenBklyn sat down with the legendary group Salt N Pepa to talk music career, hip-hop, and much more.

Throughout the 38-minutes interview, the hip-hop icons detail an emotional Tupac Shakur story, and say how they overcome their own personal struggles within the music industry. The ladies dish on their ability to relate to the millions of women who’ve went through what they’ve gone through makes them that more special.

The music pioneers continue also add on boycotting the Grammy’s with Will Smith and even working at Sears with Martin Lawrence and Kid-N-Play.
