Drake & Future’s ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ Debuts At #1
by Staff Editor
Drake and Future have been arguably the two hottest rappers in the game this year. That’s why the World stopped when they announced that they would release a collaborative project. Now, the first week sales numbers are in.
HDD reports that What A Time To Be Alive managed to sell 339,538 copies since its release on iTunes last Sunday. With the streaming system in effect, that’s a grand total of 378,630.
You might be confused because of the 500k number that was floating around earlier this week. However, that was not a sales projection, it was the prediction from industry insiders. Also, the fact that this wasn’t release on a Friday and has been an Apple Music exclusive can also hurt sales a little.
Despite all of that, the duo debut at #1 on the chart this week. Congrats!
