Kevin Gates has been making headlines lately for allegedly kicking a fan in the face at a concert in Florida over the weekend.

Today, the rapper faces a misdemeanor battery charge after a video of him kicking the fan went viral, but if that wasn’t enough, Kevin Gates even wrote a song about it called “The Truth.”

The song which contains the lyrics, “You should have respect for yourself. You a queen and you wasn’t respecting yourself. Ever been disrespected, you know how it felt. You don’t have to like me, go love someone else.”

There’s no doubt, the New Orleans’ native has some outspoken thoughts about the incident.
