Macklemore & Ryan Lewis recently, made a comeback with their single “Growing Up,” earlier this month, as they’re also gearing up to release their sophomore album.

Previously, MTV caught up with the duo in studio and with Macklemore at his Seattle home to talk about some candid topics.

In the mini-documentary titled Fully Human provided above the rapper opens up about his relapse with addiction, his joy of being a father, and how fame has effected him in both good and bad.

Macklemore says, “I was not at my best when I found out Tricia was pregnant. I was struggling with addiction, I got down on my knees and prayed just like, God, I’m not ready for this right now.”
