Drake Opens His OVO Set With Meek Mill Disses
by Staff Editor
This weekend Drake and his host of friends ranging from LeBron James to Kevin Hart to J.Cole held down the 6ix with the sixth annual OVO Festival. Kicking off the festival on Saturday, Kevin brought the laughs followed by the 2014 Forest Hills Drive crew pulling into town on Sunday but all eyes are on Drake, in the midst of his beef with Meek Mill, and what he will do to close out the celebration for his hometown.
As the lights came up on Drake’s set, he immediately reminded the crowd he was in the midst of a battle by opening with “Back to Back” and “Charged Up” with various memes of his opponent on the screen behind him. In the set opening Drake proclaims “you did it to yourself boy. I won’t let nobody disrespect my city or what I stand for.”
After performing his two diss records, Drizzy went into his seemingly endless catalog and bringing out his surprise guests. Catch some of the pictures and videos above.
