The XXL Freshman freestyles are being rolled out, and Raury is up next.

As you may know, the 2015 XXL Freshman Class was revealed in the cover of their anticipated issue this month. Along with the cover, each featured MC dropped a minute or less freestyle to show what they have to offer.

Earlier this week, freestyles from Fetty Wap and Dej Loaf were released by the magazine, and today, Raury spits some hard bars on his 51-second freestyle.

Speaking on his inspirations with the mag in his profile video, Raury stated, “I have a strong grounding in folk music; I love folk music, it’s my favorite type. You know, Justin Vernon from Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Father John Misty, people who are really dope. But then I have a hip-hop heart, so I love Kid Cudi, I love André 3000, great inspirations. I’d say I have a folk head, a hip-hop heart and a rock soul. Down to my soul I love rock and roll, you know, I love Queen, I love soul music, too, Marvin Gaye is a giant inspiration. It’s a lot of people.”
