After Megan Thee Stallion’s alleged shooting assault by Tory Lanez in July, more details surfaced!

Reports from TMZ alleged that the Canadian artist apologized to Megan via text message for shooting her. The messages came 15 hours after the incident. According to the messages, Tory Lanez said that he was overly intoxicated, which led to the altercation.

In the conversation he stated, “cuz I genuinely just got too drunk.”

The leaked messages followed after fans began to criticize Tory for speaking out about his streaming numbers before publicly speaking about the incident with Megan.

In early July, Tory was arrested by Los Angeles County’s Sheriff’s Department for having a concealed weapon in a vehicle. A witnesses claimed an argument took place in the vehicle outside of a home in the Hollywood Hills and gunshots were fired. It was later discovered that Megan was hit by the bullets in her feet after video surfaced on the internet of LAPD making her walk backwards from the truck, leaving a bloody trail.

Last month, the Hoston raptress went on Instagram Live and confirmed Tory Lanez as her shooter after weeks of silence in attempt to protect those who were involved.
