Recently, DJ Whoo Kid sat down with former G-Unit leader 50 Cent where he stated, “ I’d like to forget the G-Unit.” He also mentioned that he wasn’t eager to tell the story of the group in a film or TV series either.

“I don’t care to do that,” said 50 told Whoo Kid at the 26:40 mark in response to a potential G-Unit biopic in the future.

Surprised by the response, Whoo Kid asked why. “Kendrick [Lamar] doesn’t even let those boys come on stage with him,” 50 responded, possibly referring to Black Hippy and TDE. “I could have did that! What the f*ck I’m bringing 30 n***as onstage for? I could have did it like Kendrick.”

50 Cent’s response was not that clear on why he wants to never tell the story of G-Unit, but based on history, it may be because he doesn’t get along with majority of the former members. Lloyd Banks, who was also a founder of the group, left the group and label in 2018 just after Kidd Kidd. Young Buck and 50 have been beefing over the last few years and The Game disassociated hisself with G-Unit back in 2005. View the full interview below.
