Machine Gun Kelly & More to Headline Audio Up’s “Halloween In Hell” Podcast Special Coming This October
by Staff Editor
In the forthcoming fall season, “HALLOWEEN IN HELL,” which is an upcoming four-part holiday podcast by Audio Up Media, will feature Machine Gun Kelly, Dana Dentata, iann dior, and 24kGoldn as performers for their music extravaganza. Premiering Oct. 10 on all podcast platforms, the podcast aims to pay homage to music horror hits and will later be released as a documentary of bonus content.
In an official press release, Audio Up CEO Jared Gutstadt states, “Halloween, much like other major holidays, deserves its own entertainment tent pole. While a lot of people focus on Christmas, Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve, we really believe that Halloween is an undersurface time of year for folks to enjoy original content. I was always a fan of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ and ‘Nightmare Before Christmas,’ and we believe we’re creating an evergreen franchise that will allow us to unlock new stories every year with original music, possibly ending up in the realm of live or visual content. Machine Gun Kelly was an extremely logical and obvious partner for us. His brand pairs well with the season.”
“HALLOWEEN IN HELL” is set during Halloween as the headlining acts find themselves trapped on a soundstage reminiscent of hell and play fictional versions of themselves. While the podcast was written by Jimmy Jellinek and created by Jared Gutstadt, the soundtrack was produced/co-written by Gutstadt and will be released by Audio Up Records.
