A recent episode of Nick Cannon’s podcast called Cannons Class recently aired. During the episode the Wild ‘n Out host made a few comments about the current events of the world. ViacomCBS compared it to a “hateful speech” and decided to cut ties with Cannon.
“ViacomCBS condemns bigotry of any kind and we categorically denounce all forms of anti-Semitism,” the company said in a statement Tuesday. ViacomCBS will now be terminating its relationship with Cannon, ViacomCBS also stated.
The company’s decision was made in response to remarks being made by Cannon from a very recent podcast episode, between Nick Cannon and Richard Griffin, former Public Enemy member.
Cannon has spoken about the now terminated relationship between him and ViacomCBS in a Facebook post:
Cannon is now demanding complete ownership of the hit show, as well as an apology from ViacomCBS. He also stated “Viacom is on the wrong side of history.”
