J. Cole has arrived with a new single titled as “Snow on Tha Bluff.” This singlet is his first of 2020 as lead artist as he speaks on the current controversies in the USA.

In the song, Cole talks about scrolling through a woman’s twitter page and thinks she’s probably throwing shade towards him. “She mad at the celebrities, low key I be thinkin’ she talking bout me,” he raps. “But shit, it’s something about the queen tone that’s bothering me.”

Since last night, fans have been speculating that the rapper is talking about NoName, after she tweeted that everyone’s favorite rappers were silent about the murder of George Floyd and the injustices in the states. What further makes these speculations seem true is that Noname tweeted, “QUEEN TONE!!!!!!” after J. Cole released his single.

Cole addressed the rumors in a statement via social media, saying, “I love and honor her as a leader in these times. She has done and is doing the reading and the listening and the learning on the path that she truly believes is the correct one for our people.” He concluded with, “We may not agree with each other but we gotta be gentle with each other.” Check out the single below:
