Grammy-nominated and newly independent artist Tory Lanez releases his latest R&B single “Temperature Rising.” This comes on the heels of the third No.1 rap album of Lanez’s career, The New Toronto 3 that dropped just last month and his showstopping “Tory Lanez Social Distancing Tour” show via YouTube, which integrated elements from his famous “Quarantine Radio” show and featured songs off of TNT3, Chixtape 5, and more.

Turning a new leaf, Lanez has strategically entered into a partnership with Stem to distribute his first single as an independent artist and entrepreneur. Lanez recognizes the infrastructure needed to amplify a record and the value in a platform that caters to independent artists, their vision, and simplifies the process of releasing music.

In “Temperature Rising,” we see the course of Lanez’s romance heat up, as the slow-tempoed, bass heavy track finds him crooning about the sensual connection between him and his girl. Lanez promises that all the fantasizing is over as he plans on making moves to please her, and ensures “we’ve got all night girl, we can take it slowly.” The ebb and flow continues as Lanez litters the track with familiar melodic riffs and passionate ad libs, creating an instant classic R&B love-making record.

“I wanted to present a song that gave you the nostalgia of the real 90’s R&B classics,” said Lanez.
