After teasing fans on Twitter with collaboration news, Reason and Schoolboy Q have finally released their highly anticipated new single titled “Pop Shit.” With production by Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kal Banx, both Reason and Schoolboy Q present hardcore and intense bars on the beat as they deliver another rap hit. Just one day after tweeting “Me and @ScHoolboyQ got somethin for y’all Friday. Been waiting to put this out,” Reason took to Twitter to share visuals for “Pop Shit,” which finds him facing off with a doppelganger.

With Schoolboy Q being noticeably absent from TDE Appreciation Week, fans are excited to see the rapper make his return as his last record released was “Wild Youngster” with Nez, which came out at the top of the year. Meanwhile, Reason has been on a roll with releasing new music as he recently released the single “Might Not Make It” and also had multiple appearances on Dreamville’s “Revenge of the Dreamers 3.” While no future releases are confirmed at the moment, fans of the TDE artists are looking forward to the possibility of new singles or even an album from either of the artists in the near future.
