It Was Good Until It Wasn’t has finally arrived after much anticipation. This album serves as the follow-up to Kehlani’s 2017 SweetSexySavage.

“It’s my parents’ story, articulated into mine, articulated into a gift for my daughter, so she knows where she comes from,” Kehlani told Zane Lowe last year, according to Vibe, about when discussing the project. “[It’s] a really heavy load to process while I’m pregnant…breaking down my mom when I’m about to be a mom.”

Kehlani’s new album consists of 15 tracks with appearances from James Blake, Jhené Aiko, and more. The final song, “Lexii’s Outro,” is a tribute to Kehlani’s friend and previous collaborator who passed away a few months ago. Check it out below.
