Directed by Kerby Jean-Raymond, rapper Wale’s all-new music visual for “Sue Me” featuring Kelly Price comes off of his sixth album “Wow… That’s Crazy.” The seven minute visual hits on the topic of race as a struggling white teen’s battle with racial-profiling serves as the focus of the video. With Lucas Hedges, star of “Honey Boy” and “Manchester by the Sea,” as the lead of the video, Wale’s latest entry is already gaining a reputation for its powerful messaging.

When further discussing the “Sue Me” visual, Wale says, “What if you could walk through a day in the life of an average African American young man? What would you see? What would you hear? What would you face? We wanted to redefine the whole narrative and allow everybody to step into these shoes. I’ve never been more proud of a video than what we did here. Kerby really brought this vision to life, and Reebok helped make it a reality. I hope it makes you think a little. While you’re thinking, stay safe and stay home!”

Wale’s latest album, “Wow… That’s Crazy,” was released last October by the D.C. rapper and Warner Music. While introducing a new body of music to fans, “Sue Me” was praised as “one of the greatest beats ever” by Wale himself.
