Megan Thee Stallion’s highly anticipated release of her debut album “Suga” has finally arrived. Featuring collaborations from Kehlani and Gunna, Megan has delivered nine all-new tracks on her latest project including her single “B.I.T.C.H.” Megan’s new track also received the video treatment with an official music video directed by Elf Rivera.

After Megan claimed that her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, was stopping her from being able to release new music, she went on to file a lawsuit against the company in order to get out of her contract. She will now be able to release new music to fans after a district judge in Harris County, Texas later granted her a temporary restraining order (TRO).

According to court reports analyzed by TMZ and Pitchfork, 1501 and Carl Crawford, who is the company’s founder/CEO, filed an emergency motion against the TRO. In response to the TRO, Crawford’s team argues, “[Megan Thee Stallion] could have provided the required notice to [1501 Certified Entertainment and Carl Crawford] and held the hearing requesting the TRO before the March 6, 2020 date currently designated to release her music.” They also write, “Instead, the tabloid media outlet TMZ was provided the TRO hours before [Megan Thee Stallion] served [1501 and Crawford] with any notice regarding the application or issuance of the TRO.”
