DaBaby’s Miami Battery Charge Dismissed
by Staff Editor
DaBaby has been dismissed on his Miami battery charge where the rapper allegedly robbed and beat up a concert promoter. Kenneth Carey, the alleged victim, was uncooperative, which resulted in the case being thrown out. Carey is currently requesting up to $6 million in his open lawsuit against DaBaby.
Although DaBaby’s charge has been dismissed, he is still being investigated, but remains positive that he will win. He may be charged again later due to his connection to the investigation. In response to the incident, DaBaby took to Instagram and wrote, “Please stop talking to me about that weak ass 48 hours I spent in jail and that failed attempt to break my spirits & interrupt the path.” While also mentioning the upcoming new music he has on the way, DaBaby continues, “Don’t allow yourself to be used by janky promoters and lazy ass grown men itching for the opportunity to file a lawsuit that they won’t win.”
