The Weeknd Is Back With His New Single “Heartless”
by Staff Editor
Overnight, R&B superstar The Weeknd delivered his all-new record “Heartless” following the release of his last EP, “My Dear Melancholy,” which dropped in March of 2018. The Weeknd’s latest drop is only the beginning as he recently took to Twitter to tease that he is in “album mode full effect” indicating that a full body of work will be released soon.
As “Heartless” boasts lyrics, such as “tryna find the one that can fix me,” many fans have speculated that The Weeknd is hinting at his past relationship with Bella Hadid in his new song. Following The Weeknd’s musical pattern of delivering more dark and intense R&B records, it would not be far-fetched if Hadid was a source of inspiration for “Heartless.”
Not only did The Weeknd tease a new album via social media, but the singer also teased his next track “Blinding Lights” in a new Mercedes-Benz commercial. We may be hearing more than we expected from the Grammy-winner before 2019 closes out.
