Last month Nicki Minaj dropped a ball on her fans after announcing her retirement on twitter. During a conversation with The Shade Room, Nicki decided to clarify on her announcement.

“The retirement was talking about my album, meaning do I want to go back and record my fifth album,” Nicki said after hinting that she may also have some features in the works.

Although she’s still toying with the idea of retirement, the rapper acknowledges the frenzy she put her fans in over the way she revealed the information. “I didn’t know my fans were going to act like that, she continued. “It hurt my feelings because I feel like the way I did it might have been insensitive to my fans. I didn’t know it was going to be that big of a deal, so that’s why I deleted it.”

Nicki also explained that she is still completing features for other artist. She touched on a recent Kanye West collaboration and highlighted her hopes to work with Dababy and Gunna in the future.
