Cash Money Films, the production company co-founded by legendary Cash Money Records Co-Founders Bryan ‘Birdman’ Williams and Ronald ‘Slim’ Williams, have partnered with NCREDIBLE and announced an upcoming film headed to theaters in February 2020. 

The film ‘She Ball’ will star some of the most influential entertainers today such as Nick Cannon who wrote, produced, and directed She Ball. Multi-platinum icons Birdman and Chris Brown also produced as all three will star in the movie alongside Cedric The Entertainer, DC Young Fly, Evan Ross, Faizon Love, and Melody Rae Kandil. 

She Ball is a community inspired film that tells the story of troubles faced against a young female athlete played by Melody Rae Kandil on and off the basketball court. The project deals with race, gentrification, criminal justice, and women empowerment. 

“She Ball, is about community, and the inclusive nature of controlling your own background. It’s a story that doesn’t have any boundaries. It’s a sports movie, it’s a love story, and it’s a comedy,” Nick Cannon explained. 

Cash Money Films and NCREDIBLE unveiled the official trailer on Tuesday (Oct. 15) which hints toward the drama in the film. A second trailer is scheduled to drop on Thursday (Oct. 17) displaying what humor viewers can expect to see. 

As the first release by Cash Money Films, we can anticipate more to come between the collaboration of Nick Cannon and Birdman as they build on their long-lasting relationship through the film world. An official soundtrack is also expected to arrive on Cash Money Records/NCREDIBLE.
