Jeezy recently spoke with Billboard, stating, “Most of us end up in the penitentiary and the rest of us end up in a graveyard. I was the one cat that made it through and I seen so much that it made me numb, but it also made me want to spread what I saw so that I can help people overcome what they was going through.” Discussing his music, Jeezy continues on, “The TM series represents adversity and represents the struggle, overcoming obstacles… If you look at it, it’s sturdy steps of evolution, like watching somebody grow bigger and wiser and better.”

While Jeezy is currently celebrating fifteen years of being with Def Jam Recordings, we can also look ahead towards the 15th anniversary of his multi-platinum debut album “Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101” in 2020. The album included the double-platinum #1 hit “Soul Survivor” featuring Akon and went on to enter the Rap and R&B charts at #1 (#2 on the overall).

Jeezy’s new album can be expected to soar high as the chart-topping Trap pioneer has sold over 11 million albums and has accumulated over 5 billion streams. Jeezy continues to see success in the music industry and in recent business ventures as he adds a new partnership with Figgers Wireless under his belt.
