Since this month’s earlier announcement of the partnership between Jay Z’s Roc Nation, and the NFL there has been talk of hip hop’s first billionaire possibly owning an NFL team, but these reports have become to be false.

Multiple people connected to the NFL ownership and throughout the league office have told CBS Sports that this TMZ-reported rumor is simply false.

However, what we can say is true is that while Roc Nation’s partnership with the NFL caused a lot of controversy amongst Kaepernick supporters Roc Nation will still be the league’s live music entertainment strategist, and will enhance the league’s social justice efforts.
