Tidal and Instagram: New Social Sharing Capabilities for Stories

Everybody brace yourselves, that is, if you own an Instagram account. Based on the overall statistics of 2019, there are over one billion of us Instagram users…so I guess that is everyone. Today, TIDAL announced its new series of enhancements for Instagram and Facebook stories. So, if you have a TIDAL account, you are now able to share your favorite music and playable video content in your stories. TIDAL members with iOS and Android phones are able to post songs, albums, artists, and even playlists by clicking the three-dot menu and selecting “share.”
Long before Jay-Z took over TIDAL in 2015, the company’s name was Aspiro which actually started in the 90’s in Scandinavia. See full timeline here. According to Business Insider Jay-Z’s company acclaimed Aspiro is “an innovative high-quality company with strong future growth potential.” Tidal’s coming out party including some big-name musicians like Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Beyonce, Madonna, Rihanna, Kanye West, and Nicki Minaj who all publicly came to support the launch.
Now, TIDAL is one of the most successful subscription-based streaming services with over 60 million songs, 250,000 music videos, and thousands of performance video series.
