Meek Mill partnered with Amazon Prime for his documentary titled Free Meek, which captures his fight against the criminal justice system after his incarceration for violating probation due to a prior conviction in 2017.
The Documentary is also executive produced by Jay-Z along with Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, and Paul and Isaac Solotaroff. Jay-Z is even featured in the docu-series in an interview where he speaks on the injustice suffered by Meek.
As stated in the synopsis, “Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill’s 2017 arrest for probation violations sparked national outrage. A re-investigation of his original case explores allegations of police corruption as Meek becomes the face of a justice reform movement.” Meek also recently joined forces with Jay-Z to bring Dream Chasers to Roc Nation, making it a proper label.
