Nigeria’s very own Burna Boy has released his fourth studio album – a 19-track gem entitled African Giant. Burna takes the listener on a journey as he addresses topics such as colonization, love, and accomplishments. On the last track of the album, Spiritual, Burna ends the song with his mother profound speech from this year’s BET Awards:

“…And the message from Burna, I believe, would be that every black person should please remember that you were Africans before you became anything else.”Bose Ogulu

Last year Burna boy released Outside, a 12-track album in which his popular single Ye, served as the leading track on the album.

2019 has been a great year for Burna Boy so far and aside from his new album release, Burna is also in the middle of his international tour, The African Giant Returns, making stops at the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn, Montreal, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Belgium.
