XXL releases their highly anticipated 2019 Freshman Class, featuring eleven of today’s hottest rappers.

With the help of social media, industry heads, rappers, and regular people alike, the XXL team then narrows down the list to see who will grace the yearly cover. The publication will then release content from each rapper so that fans and readers can get an inside look at their favorite rappers.

The 12th annual Freshman Class includes Comethazine, Tierra Whack, Da Baby, Lil Mosey, Roddy Ricch, YBN Cordae, YK Osiris, Rico Nasty, Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion, and Blueface.

The Freshman Class issue of XXL will hit newsstands July 16, with a 2019 XXL Freshman show in New York City on July 22, and in Los Angeles, July 25.
