After becoming hip hop’s richest man with a net worth of $1 billion, Jay-Z now leads the list of hip hop’s richest rappers. Among the top five include Hov, Dr. Dre with $800 million, Diddy with $740 million, Kanye West with $240 million, and Drake with $150 million.

While Forbes broke down Jay’s investments to equal out his billion-dollar fortune, most of Dr. Dre’s wealth has been accumulated from his Beats by Dre headphones, in which he sold to Apple for $3 billion in 2014.

For the rest, the majority of Diddy’s fortune comes from his Ciroc Vodka stake, with Kanye’s coming from his catalog and ever-growing Yeezy partnership with Adidas. Drake’s fortune grew by 50% last year with his shares in real estate, tour, Virginia Black whiskey deal, and his latest residency at the XS Nightclub in Las Vegas.
