According to the family of one of YNW Melly’s alleged victims, the rapper deserves to die despite previously having a close relationship with the rapper.

Melly is currently in jail in South Florida as he awaits trial for his double murder case, and prosecutors are saying they are seeking the death penalty. The family of Anthony Williams is in support of Melly getting the chair and stated, “If the state of Florida feels the death penalty is warranted in this case then we 100% fully support it.” The Williams family’s attorneys added in, “YNW Melly should feel the exact fear and panic he so viciously and consciously brought upon his innocent victims.”

According to TMZ, the state of Florida says it has proof beyond a reasonable doubt Melly and Cortlen Henry killed Anthony and Christopher Thomas Jr. Melly and Henry have both been charged with 2 counts of first-degree murder.

It was also reported that YNW Melly believes it’s unfair he’s stuck in jail awaiting trial since he voluntarily surrendered after learning he was facing murder charges. He filed docs Friday requesting release on bail. The judge hasn’t ruled on giving him a bail yet.
