After having a landmark year in 2018 H.E.R. has released the visuals for her latest single, “Hard Place.”

The Rodney Jerkins-produced track tells the story of a 21-year-old ups-and-downs of a relationship and the visual brings its lyrics to life.

The soulful track is from her 2018 project I Used To Know Her: Part 2, a heartfelt 8-track EP that landed the No. 10 spot on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart (dated Nov. 17). The project is a sequel to its precursor, I Used to Know Her: The Prelude, which included a single feature from Bryson Tiller.
