Childish Gambino and Rihanna have been working on ‘Guava Island’ for a while now. The pair were spotted together last year in Cuba filming, while Gambino previewed the film during November’s PHAROS Festival in New Zealand.
Earlier today, it was announced that fans will be able to catch the film live during YouTube’s Coachella livestream this weekend. Ads began to pop up on Spotify last week promoting the film, saying that the film would premiere on April 13 during the stream of the festival.
Aside from Gambino and Rih’s roles in the film, it will also feature Letitia Wright and and Nonso Anozie from Black Panther. In March, it was pointed out that this latest film could actually be a visual film to go with his upcoming album.
