While fans and celebs have been congratulating Jussie Smollett on his legal win, as well as showing support, Ne-Yo shared his thoughts on the situation, while mentioning he almost stopped believing the Empire actor.

The ‘GOOD MAN’ crooner started off his Instagram post with “I wouldn’t be real if I didn’t admit that I ALMOST let them convince me of something my spirit was telling me was wrong.” Ne-Yo also apologized to Smollett saying, “I apologize to your for almost allowing media and the things being said around me, to make me go against what my heart and soul was screaming at me.”

While some understood his delivery of his message, many wasn’t here for it, soon having the R&B star to release another post to clear the air about his feelings about the case.

Ne-Yo addresses that he still wants to wait to see if Smollett is indeed 100% correct. Do you agree with Ne-Yo’s decision?
