21 Savage’s Felony Theft Charges Have Been Dropped By The District Attorney In Georgia

21 Savage has been through a lot these past couple of weeks with his immigration status.
The District Attorney in Liberty County, Georgia has dropped felony theft of services charges against the rapper involving a concert promoter who claims that 21 Savage did not show up to a performance after getting paid.
In 2016, 21 was supposed to perform at a club in Southern Georgia. He was allegedly paid $17,000 prior to the performance but never showed up. The promoter issued a warrant for his arrest, but did not proceed to press any charges.
That soon changed when the promoter, along with everybody else, learned about 21’s immigration status and decided to press charges when 21 was arrested by ICE early February.
The District Attorney passed the case off as a civil matter and rejected the case.
Although 21 Savage doesn’t have to worry about this particular case, the rapper still faces the possibility of being deported.
21 Savage has applied for his Visa but that can take months or even years to process. Also, with Trump’s Immigration Policy, a Visa applicant must leave the country until the application process has been approved.
