On this weekend’s episode of Rocket Hour, Elton John chats with multi-talented artist, Teyana Taylor.

Elton asks about Teyana’s upcoming projects and shares his thoughts on why the Harlem native deserved recognition from the Grammy’s for her album, K.T.S.E :

Elton John: Your album is one of the best albums I heard last year. I am crazy, crazy, crazy for it…I have to say, but you weren’t nominated for Grammy for this, right?

Teyana Taylor: No.

Elton John: That’s sht. That is sht. Because this album, everyone I’ve played this album to is crazy about it, and it’s one of the best R&B records that I’ve heard. I cannot stop playing it. We’ve played five tracks from it already on this show. We’ve been supporting it ever since it came out.

Teyana is currently sharpening her director skills by starting her own production company. The artist also has a fitness company in the works:

Teyana Taylor: I have my own fitness company, my own fitness line, about to go on a fitness tour, Fate to Fit. I have my own all female production company called The Aunties.
