A trustee reviewing the financial fraud lawsuit of Duane Martin has forwarded a subpoena to Will Smith demanding him to turn over any information and communication connected to Martin. Martin purchasing a mansion in California with a loan of $1.4 million from Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith appears to be the reason as to why the Smiths have been pulled into the case as well.

New information has surfaced from the trustee that is suing Martin as the trustee believes Martin was hiding funds and using his company, Roxe LLC, to disguise his $2.6 million in assets during the bankruptcy investigation on him and his estranged wife Tisha Campbell. According to The Blast, Martin purchased the home for $900,000 in 2006 and later borrowed $1.9 million to build their family home.

With the investment of over a million dollars from the Smiths, Martin later repurchased his home under Roxe LLC. Allegedly, Martin and Campbell agreed to pay $5,000 per month for the property under a lease with their own company.
