by Staff Editor

“I wanted to drop the visuals to this song on a special day because it’s a special song!” says Keke Palmer, who just dropped her smooth and soulful music visual to “Better to Have Loved,” which was directed by Lawrence S. Murray.
As the video for “Better to Have Loved” premiered on Valentine’s Day of 2019, Palmer also took to Instagram to provide insight into the core message of the song. In the caption of her Instagram post promoting the visual release, Palmer spreads the message that love is anything but perfect and is defined by what we believe it is. Palmer also admits “Better to Have Loved” is one of the “truest” songs she has ever released. Ending her message on a positive note regarding love, Palmer states, “Everything is meaningful no matter where it ends up, so if you’re going to have experiences with people and give time to situations, why NOT let go enough to learn from it all.”
Palmer has been added to our 2019 Valentine’s Day playlist as “Better to Have Loved” is available now!
