The 50th National Association for the Advancement of Colored People’s (NAACP) annual celebration of black excellence will be televised live for the first time from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood California. Also known as The Image Awards, the awards are set to air Saturday, March 30, live on TVOne.

As the awards spotlight the contributions of the NAACP and the organization’s impact on the community the nominees for Entertainer of the Year are as follows: Beyoncé, Chadwick Boseman, Ryan Coogler, Regina King, and LeBron James.

However, unlike most esteemed awards ceremonies, this particular category is open to the vote of the public. The rest of the nominees for the awards ceremony will be announced soon.

In recent years some of the biggest names in film, television, and music have been awarded including Denzel Washington, Oprah, John Legend, Gabrielle Union, Kevin Hart, Stevie Wonder, Will Smith, and more.
You can cast your vote at NAACPImageAwards.net. You can vote once every 24 hours until March 4, 2019.
