After winning a Grammy for Best Rap Song at the 2019 Grammy Award Show, Drake is taking a step back into the past to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the project that got him his major breakthrough.

So Far Gone, turns 10 today (Feb 14) and in honor of this memorable project, he’s bringing it to streaming platforms for the first time.

For its 10th anniversary, Billboard sat down with Bun B to talk about his relationship with Drizzy and how far he’s grown as a rapper from Toronto.

“I want to say he’s top 10,” Bun B said, after stating right up front that “a lot of people who are in the top 10 had ghostwriters as well.”

He went on to say, “There will be very few artists who will ever be as impactful as Drake is. Game-changing.” Bun B also praised his sense of verstality, calling his approach to reinvention one of his strongest assests. “Most artists are either/or, they’re fiery lyrically or very heavy on wordplay, or they’re a laid-back player style,” he said. “It was interesting how he can go back and forth not just through a project, but in the midst of a single verse.”

So Far Gone is not Drake’s first mixtape or first album, but it does mark his true debut to mainstreams. The project was presented by October’s Very Own, the partnership founded by Drake and Oliver El-Khatib. The mixtape was marked a large Drizzy’s decisive move into his own lane but creating his own sound and good music. Celebrate with us by Streaming the project above.
