R. Kelly, despite the multiple sexual assault allegations against him, decides to remain in the limelight. According to Billboard, the singer has a new album that’s finished and he’s looking for a distributor to release it as soon as possible.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that he and RCA Records parted ways after allegations of sex crimes and a documentary was unleashed to the public. However, he managed to leave with reclaimed ownership of his unreleased music, including the forthcoming album. Sources said that Kelly’s team has been seeking a new distributor for several months, prior to Surviving R. Kelly being aired on Lifetime. The likelihood of the album being released soon seems unlikely.
