Cardi B had a successful 2018, which consisted of her debut album Invasion Of Privacy going platinum and making her the most streamed female artist on both Apple Music and Spotify.
Based on her sells it’s obvious fans are feeling her music, and it goes without saying that they are anticipating more hits from the raptress. Just in time for the new year, Cardi went live on Instagram and assured fans they’d get a new project this year.
“Of course there’s going to be an album in 2019,” she said. “Hopefully I could get my album done around the same time that Invasion Of Privacy came out.”
However, Cardi added that she wasn’t sure how possible it would be to drop a new project in April on the same day as her debut album was released because she felt as though she was going to be extremely busy.
Bardo has three festival performances already scheduled between now and April — among the behind the scenes plans she probably has in line — fans might have to just stick it out and just wait, But some new Cardi is definitely guaranteed for 2019.
