As reported before, in February 2018 a British-Liberian artist by the name of Lina Iris Viktor filed a lawsuit against Kendrick Lamar and SZA in regards to their collaboration for the “All The Stars” music video.

Viktor argued that, she denied Marvel’s requests to use her work and although she did that, the Dave Meyers-directed clip for the Black Panther soundtrack single utilized prints that were similar to her iconography. Today (Dec. 27), Pitchfork reported that the suit has been settled, and all claims have been dismissed, which is good news for the both the artist.

As for the future, Sza announced that she will be dropping new music really soon following a leak of old recorded music from 2015. Kendrick Lamar is also in views of winning a Grammy, as he is leading the nominations.
