JID‘s DiCaprio 2 just faced an unexpected set back. The album unfortunately has a clearance issue unlike most.

The original album artwork featuring  Leonardo DiCaprio’s lookalike Konrad Annerud, has been replaced by a JID-shaped Oscar. It was reported that the rapper’s team never actually had the rights to the picture and had to remove the album from streaming services to re-upload the project with a new cover.

This change also had a negative impact on his sale numbers, essentially wiping the slate clean. “Now the numbers fucked up cuz they took the whole project down to change the cover,” wrote JID, via Twitter. “literally dropped from #12 til like #80 sumthin smh this is my fault.”
