Remy Ma Found In Contempt Of Court Over Vince Herbert’s Record Label Lawsuit
by Staff Editor
Remy Ma is caught up in the middle of a money battled with her former manager Vince Herbert and music company LDNX Records.
After failing to turn over financial documents and money that may still be owed to the music executive, the judge handling the case requested Remy to satisfy court orders within 30 days or she will be hit with sanctions.
In 2017, LDNX won a judgment after suing Herbert over a business deal that went sour. The music company says that they have yet to be paid, and as a result, they’ve dragged Remy, Lady Gaga and Interscope Records into the foray.
In August Gaga turned over all requested financial information after avoiding the court’s request for months. LDNX Records is looking to collect $380,000 owed to them by Vince and anything else earned while working with Remy, Gaga and Interscope. The case is still ongoing.
