After releasing his new CHAMPIONSHIPS album, Meek Mill  showed up on CNN to talk with Michael Smerconish about the prison reform and his personal relationship with the issue. Meek has become an activist for the reform after his release earlier this year.

“There’s a lot of things in the system that clearly don’t make sense,” he says. “It’s keeping many young black men caught up in the system without even committing crimes.”

Meek shares that he has been the target of this discrimination and that’s why the reform is something he feels very passionate about. He even addressed the alleged shots Jay-Z took at Yeezy on one of his albums tracks. Check out the full interview below.
