Over the weekend, Asahd, the son of DJ Khaled, hosted a party at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida to celebrate his 2nd birthday with over 250 youth from various community organizations and notable celebrities like Angela Simmons, Yo Gotti, TJ Wright, and more in appearance. Guests experienced carnival rides, games, music and great food during the event.

The party was also to celebrate launching Asahd’s first charitable initiative, a program of the WE THE BEST Foundation, which focuses on enriching the lives of the next generation from childhood to adulthood. Asahd’s initiative will offer grants to charities and people around the country. Miami will also be a major focus and primary market for the foundation.

Asahd, DJ Khaled and his mother also was presented a $100,000 check by CEO Derek Jeter on behalf of the Marlins and $10,000 from the stroller company, Cybex. Additional sponsors included Marlins, Kathy Romero, Kids Foot Locker, Haddad, The Confluent Group, Beats by Dre, Lyft, Brand Jordan, Cybex, Oda Creative, and Finga Licking.
